Poisonous Plants | petMD Happy Spring!!!!

Happy Spring everybody!

Inhale deeply that Spring morning air, AHHHHHH!
We would like you, the "Pet parent", to know a list of Plants that are Poisonous to your fur babies. Most pets like to chew on anything and Veterinarians have found many unusual objects in fur babies' stomachs/intestines, plant life is one of the culprits to cause intestinal blockage.

Many pet parents dismiss the potential dangers of ingesting certain greens. Some pet parents say, "A little grass didn't hurt anybody. It's like a light salad for Fido and Kitty.". (I know this because, my parents are from the old country and believe it's like a deworming method; Which mind you, is an old wives' tale.) Truth is, if they graze from the lawn; your fur baby can get a stomach ache, vomiting, diarrhea and catch a parasite.Grass blades can even cut down the Esophagus (throat) and irritate it as well. NOT to mention the chemically treated grass, that suburban living requires; which can cause more organ damage to your pets.

Click on   Poisonous Plants | petMD  and Educate yourself about the potential dangers in household plants and other ordinary outdoor plants.
